Women's Health Month

May 2025

Women’s Health month is upon us, so we should review what makes women special, and how
to address our special health needs.

Heart disease is the number one killer of men and women. Reversing heart disease is possible,
with willingness and a motivation to change. For women, hormone replacement with bioidentical
hormones strengthens the heart and skeletal muscle. Xtra bonus - it protects brain function.
Women are twice as likely to get dementia, but hormone replacement is a power tool in
prevention.

Breast cancer in America affects one in 8 women, whereas heart disease will hit one in 3.
Hormone replacement has been highly controversial, but new evidence shows it can be
PROTECTIVE of both, as well as dementia, where women number two thirds of the estimated 7
million sufferers.

Osteoporosis and bone fractures affect women far more than men. Hormone replacement,
EXERCISE and appropriate mineral intake plus Vitamins D and K builds strong, natural bones
over time.

Many diseases of aging, and quality of life measures, are hugely benefitted from bioidentical
hormone therapy. At any stage of life, hormone replacement may be appropriate, but certainly
women in menopause need all the help they can get!

Dr. Roberts has been prescribing BHRT of thirty years, and uses it herself. Come get your
